part of my quest to see off Scrimblo, a band that connects with me at a level i can't really articulate. after a planned weekender with mICROgOBLET fell through, they set up a live session in a concert hall at UMBC. then, day of, mICROgOBLET decided not to come, so it was just Scrimblo. i hitched a ride down, then took my customary photos. i also filmed some footage that i'll try to turn into something.

got off work and immediately biked over in 90 degree heat and extreme humidity. as a result the lens of my camera fogged up and the photos of Avalon look like that.

brother of the blog Rowan's birthday, lot of things that aren't really shows but still had a band playing this month. Away Legend is a vaguely defined free improvisation troupe consisting of Rowan, Myles V. (Carpet Floor, mICROgOBLET), and Mocha (instagram user @32ligma), all on drums. tonight also featuring Peter Sukeena (Giant, maloiker) on drums, Drew Walker (Carpet Floor) on bass, and myself (this goddamn website) on guitar.
